Pastor Jordan Ertl was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin, the youngest of three children born to his parents, Jeff and Sheri Ertl. He graduated from Luther Preparatory School in 2003, from Martin Luther College in 2007 and from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2011. He served his vicar year at St. Matthew’s in Janesville, WI under Pastor Mark Lindner. In May of 2011, he was assigned to serve as pastor at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Bismarck, ND and Grace Lutheran Church in Minot, ND. Before moving to North Dakota, he married his beautiful wife Angela (Bowe) in June of 2011. After five wonderful years in Bismarck, he took a call in the spring of 2016 to serve as Campus Pastor at Atonement Lutheran Church and School on the north side of Milwaukee. There his efforts are focused on teaching Bible History and Catechism to the 7th and 8th grades, support for the faculty and staff, and reaching out with the Gospel to the families of Atonement’s 370 students. Angie currently works as a licensed mental health therapist for Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services. Pastor Ertl and Angie have been blessed with three adorable daughters, Zoe (soon to be 4), Johanna (soon to be 2) and Morgan (4 months). In his leisure, Pastor Ertl enjoys doting upon the four women in his life, hunting, and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
